Friday, October 12, 2007 marked the beginning of the 18th Annual New Orleans Film Festival (NOFF), launching at venues throughout the city. I saw all the screenings at Canal Place Cinema, a part of the Landmark movie theater chain, and I can’t wait for the rest of the weekend. One of the movies has already made my top-ten list of the year, and the movies are only going to get better (I hope). Since I’ll be seeing three to six movies a day, I can’t post all the reviews at once (there’s simply no time). But I start writing the minute I get home, so I will update as soon as possible.
